Battlefield V introduced Railway to Golmud, its largest map yet, alongside a Ranked Battle Royale mode and new weapons in the Season 3 Battle Pass on May 12, 2026. This update brought significant new content for players looking to re-engage with the game.

• New Map: Players can now engage in close-quarters combat on the new map Redacted.
• New Weapons and Gear: Season 6 added several new weapons including the VHX-D3 AR, L9CZ Sidearm, G428 DMR, along with throwable Ammo and Medical Pouches.
• New Vehicle: The YUV-2 'Pondhawk' vehicle became available for players to pilot.
• Battle Pass: The new Battle Pass introduced 100 tiers of content for players to unlock during Season 6.
