Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

  • Scoring and progression: The HP score conditions became clearer, the Hearty achievement unlocked more consistently, DLC completion percentages better reflected progress, and parries against Moonshine Mob’s pink moonshine barrels counted correctly.
  • Boss reliability: Updates fixed animation locks and phase-progression issues affecting the DLC’s final boss, Esther Winchester, Sally Stageplay, and Wally Warbles. They also corrected HP carryover in King Dice encounters, Glumstone’s Player 2 gnome activation, and the King of Games Queen’s post-death cannonball behavior.
