No verified DOOM content change was captured in the supplied records. The May 15, 2025 material concerned DOOM: The Dark Ages, a separate game, rather than an update to 2016’s DOOM.

  • Scope: The tracked DOOM: The Dark Ages launch announcement did not document a change to DOOM.
  • Separate-title content: DOOM: The Dark Ages introduced the Shield Saw, Mecha Dragon, and Atlan mech, but those additions belonged to that separate release.
  • Separate-title gameplay: The enhanced Glory Kill system was also attributed to DOOM: The Dark Ages, leaving no verified gameplay change for DOOM itself.

SnapMap’s July 20, 2017 update was the largest addition, expanding the creator with XYZ-axis rotation for Grab Object controls and a setting that removed the network limitation on single-player maps. Razer Chroma support followed on March 29, 2018, adding device lighting effects and event reactions.

  • SnapMap creation: The update improved Campaign Model stability, prevented co-op crashes involving Bob and Rotate settings, resolved matchmaking and lobby problems, and addressed AI collisions with blocking volumes.
  • Multiplayer modes: Freeze Tag no longer froze players during respawns, Infernal Run received a ball-pickup fix, Outbreak gained more consistent power-item spawns, and Aimbot Hax challenge completion worked correctly.
  • Visuals and hardware: Razer Chroma devices received dedicated effects and event support, while fixes addressed glowing player textures, player-model transparency, and visual problems caused by specific HUD combinations.
