Knight Online

Raven Harpy arrived in Eslant as a new, easier-to-defeat monster that dropped the “Relic of a Hero” quest item. The update also expanded NPC Aset’s inventory, introduced Full Moon Rift and Puzzle events, and added useful clan-management and mailbox improvements.

• Eslant content: Raven Harpy provided a new quest target and dropped “Relic of a Hero,” giving players another way to progress through Eslant content.
• NPC Aset additions:
  • Buff Pet Scrolls became available in HP 200, AC 20, and Attack 5 variants.
  • Resurrection Scroll 90% was added for 60m Noah.
  • Special Nereids arrived in Attack and Defense versions for 90m Noah.
  • Ibexs and Crisis Potions became purchasable for 70m and 105m Noah respectively, with lower prices for DC/War Premium users.
• Events: Puzzle Event and Full Moon Rift Event started, while Arena of Manes, Knight Marble, and Kitchen Thieves ended.
• Systems and progression:
  • Clan Management Improvements allowed players to join or leave clans, authorize co-leaders, and transfer leadership in Eslant, Ronark Land, and Ardream.
  • Mailbox Improvements separated account and character mailboxes and added search functionality, with up to 50 mails visible.
  • Monster Suppression Squad II reduced the amount of lootable Noah awarded by its quest.

The Castle Siege War (CSW) system was added as Knight Online’s biggest structural expansion, alongside the Ronarkland Highscore System and a revived Kingdom Selection feature. The Talisman System, War Board, and 19th Anniversary events also added new progression, combat tracking, and seasonal activities.

• War and siege content: Castle Siege War (CSW) introduced a new competitive system, while Ronarkland Blitz War!, Ronarkland Highscore System, and Kingdom Selection expanded activity around Ronark Land. Lunar War also received new ladder points, scoreboard changes, Gatekeeper and Garrison Captain updates, NPCs, and Hero’s Vow rewards.

• Progression and equipment: The Talisman System arrived with Spirit Talisman and the Mekin Spirit Talisman Exchange System. New 50 Kill missions awarded 8th Armor rewards, while Fortified Sterling Silver Gemston added four accessories and Aset Unique Monster Staff provided a way to spawn random bosses.

• Combat tracking and event systems: War Board System displayed damage and healing totals, and Party War Board extended that tracking to groups. War Boards were added to Knight Royale, Ultima’s Dungeon, Manes’ Arena, and Chaos Lord, while Voice Narration Announcements reported kills and assists. Ultima’s Dungeon also changed its entry requirements to use Monthly NP.

• Balance and combat changes: The updated Penalty System for Stats reduced damage, healing, and item-drop chances for excessive stats. Chaos Lord received shorter cooldowns and skill-tuning intervals, Felankor cast its area attack less often, and Killing Blade was replaced by Tears of High Class Angel, which restored 5,000 HP.

• Anniversary and seasonal events: The 19th Anniversary Event, 19th Anniversary Thanks Event, and Come Back Events delivered quests, rewards, and returnee bonuses. Other notable rotations included Twisted Moradon, Full Moon Rift, Knight Royale, Juraid Mountain, Red Chicken, Halloween, and Christmas Events.

The Knight Royale event led a May 2022 event slate that also brought back the Snowball War in place of Lunar War. Players also gained Special Defense Scroll items and an upgraded Minerva package from NPC Aset.

• Seasonal events: Five named activities started:
  • Puzzle Event
  • I Love Knight Online 2, which rewarded players for delivering the “I love Knight Online” emblem to NPC Aset
  • Knight Royale
  • Snowball War, which replaced Lunar War
  • Cuff Binder, whose creature appeared in Ronarkland and dropped the Daily Event Emblem
  • Twisted Moradon (Zombie), Battlefield Hero’s Wing, Lunar Tattoo, Giga Hammer, Juraid Mountain 2x Reward, Daily Login, Wild Weed, and Giant Worm events ended.
• New items: NPC Aset began selling Special Defense Scrolls for 30,000,000 Noah, granting three defenses against a selected weapon type. The enhanced Minerva package also went on sale for 50,000,000 Noah.
• Loot rates: 7th Armor and High Class drops from Booro, Balrog, and Evil Wizard increased, while Ruler of the Legend item drops also became more frequent.
• Inventory gameplay: NPC Narki gained an option to destroy Indestructible Items, giving players a way to remove otherwise permanent inventory clutter.

Ronark Land received a substantial map rework, with Dreadmare and Darkmare slots moved from Eslant and Military Camps removed. The 17th Anniversary added a major event cycle, while Knight Royale and I Love Knight Online returned with temporary rewards and bonuses.

• World and presentation: Ronark Land was reworked, its creature slots were revised, and the game added renewed shading and graphics with selectable quality settings.
• New content and systems:
  • Ruler of The Legend Weapons were added and made available through Akara’s Altar bidding.
  • Yellow Dust Monster appeared every eight hours in Luferson Castle and El Morad Castle.
  • Juraid Vote Count Reset Menu and new Juraid entry arrangements were added.
  • Market Block System let players prevent others from viewing their market listings, while an Emblem/Fairy visibility toggle was added.
• Gameplay and progression: World Drops were restricted to characters above level 70, Lunar War commander selection began using Ladder rankings, and Krowaz players were removed when Lunar War started. BDW and Juraid received temporary extra chest rewards, while Isiloon gained escalating HP and Defense after quick kills but lost its HP regeneration.
• Economy and combat tuning: Coin drops were reduced for Fierce Red Dragon, Bathin, Garlong, Marsil, Dragon Tooth Commander, Haunga Warrior, and Castellan creatures. Yellow Sand Monster and Halloween bosses instead granted increased experience, while Ronarkland Bifrost creature drop rates were reduced.
• Events: The 17th Anniversary, I Love Knight Online, Halloween, Ultima Dungeon, Twisted Moradon/Zombie, New Year’s, and Knight Royale events supplied rotating emblems, rewards, dungeons, and participation activities. Ramadan Activities, Full Moon Rift, Juraid 2x, 1+1, and the 30% EXP Festival also ran during the cycle.

Eslant Unique Monsters gained scheduled respawns and damage-based looting, making the November gameplay changes the most consequential addition. Ramadan NPC also arrived in Moradon, while Black Friday Discount Event brought discounted PUS items.

• Gameplay systems:
  • Eslant Unique Monsters: Respawns followed designated times, and looting was determined by damage dealt.
  • Monster Stone: It left several achievement rewards and entered B. Chaos Event rewards.
  • Quest rewards: HP/MP Potion rewards and non-tradable item rewards changed.
• New content: The Ramadan NPC appeared in Moradon, allowing players to obtain the Ramadan Emblem from Ibn.
• Seasonal events:
  • Black Friday Discount Event: Discounted PUS items ran from November 25 to December 3, 2020.
  • Drake’s Blessing Sales Event: The sales event ended.
  • Halloween Event: The seasonal event ended.

Valentine’s Day Event: Knight’s Next Sweetheart! added new Valentine’s Day items and activities to Knight Online. The tracked sources stayed limited beyond that event, though Ascetic Quest Issue on El Morad Side and two other named gameplay issues were corrected.

• Knight’s Next Sweetheart!: Introduced Valentine’s Day items and events for players to celebrate. The October 17 update also corrected the Ascetic Quest Issue on El Morad Side, the Orc Bowman Transformation - Summoning Pet Issue, and the Holy Knight Priest/Mage/Portu Armor Drop Issue from Fragments.

Knight Royale received schedule and reward changes, with its play time moved to 11 p.m. EST and Reward NPC Julia gaining new Soul Gem exchanges. Call Friend Scrolls and Ancient Armor Molds also returned to Sundries, while the Cypher Ring received an interface renewal.

• Knight Royale: The mode’s start time moved from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST, and Julia exchanged Ibex/Crisis Potions for 75 Soul Gems and Bronze Premium for 1,000 Soul Gems. The event concluded in May 2018.
• Returned items: Call Friend Scrolls and Ancient Armor Molds returned to the Sundries shop.
• Interface and settings: Cypher Ring received a UI renewal, while new options added FPS locking and UI zoom controls. The Portu/Kurian stamina bar also received a visual update.
• Other player-facing changes: Yeniceri items were removed from the Premium Upgrade Shop, the Solar Tattoo text for the 400 Soul Gem reward was corrected to Lunar Tattoo, and a crash involving the Cypher Ring Merchant was fixed.

Halloween Knightmare Event returned to Moradon with quests, rewards, and the Close The Gates of Hell Event, where players defeated the Giant Halloween Pumpkin for the 12th Anniversary Emblem. The Pathos Region also opened, while the Steam launch activities continued with progression and exploration events.

• Halloween Knightmare Event: Moradon received a broad set of seasonal activities and collectible rewards.
  • Close The Gates of Hell Event: Players defeated the Giant Halloween Pumpkin at Moradon Castle to earn the 12th Anniversary Emblem.
  • The Spirit of Ancient Heroes Quest: Level 35+ players defeated Spirits of Ancient Heroes for a random Mask Piece.
  • Trick or Treat Quest: Level 40–60 players collected Ember Candles from Pumpkin Lanterns for buff candies.
  • Spreading Halloween Cheer Quest: Players cast floating Pumpkin Masks to earn festive weapons and costumes.
  • Halloween Goodies Rewards: Jack O'Lantern exchanged Halloween quest items for special masks and weapons.
• Pathos Region and Invisible Wings Feature: The Pathos Region became accessible, and Invisible Wings Feature let players hide all wings to improve interactions with NPCs.
• Steam Opening Events: Race To Level 80 and Tour Of Moradon supported the Steam launch, while the Welcome Pack remained available for new players.
