Monster Hunter Wilds

Ver. 1.041 added Arch-Tempered Arkveld and the 10★ “The Proud Child of the Wilds” challenge quest, giving endgame hunters a new high-difficulty target. A Royal Request introduced a permanent side mission, while the Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo opened the first three chapters to newcomers with save-data transfer support.

• Arch-Tempered hunts: Ver. 1.041 added Arch-Tempered Arkveld, and “The Proud Child of the Wilds” provided a 10★ hunt. The eight Monster Hunter Championship Challenge Quests also returned permanently.
• Permanent quests and offline play: A Royal Request added a transport-themed side mission with cosmetic rewards, while Just What the Doctor Ordered became a permanent event quest. All 25 available event and Challenge Quests also became playable offline.
• Prologue access: The Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo let new players experience the first three chapters for free, and its save data transferred into the full game.
• Free rewards: The MH Festa ’26 Visitor Pack made selected DLC and pendants free, while the Gold Circlet and Simon’s Wind Wyvern’s Friend layered armor became available as additional rewards.

Monster Hunter Wilds launched on February 28, 2025, and has since introduced significant updates and collaborations in its first year. Notably, Free Title Update 4 launched on December 16, 2025, featuring the new Elder Dragon, Gogmazios, alongside numerous enhancements and new gameplay mechanics.

  • New Monsters like Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad and Arch-tempered Uth Duna were added, alongside Lagiacrus and Seregios returning to the hunt.
  • New Gameplay Mechanics: The Transcend Your Armor feature allows players to upgrade armor beyond its original limits.

• Gameplay Enhancements:

  • Grand Hub introduced as a central social space for players to gather and manage quests.
  • New NPC Support Hunters were added, improving solo play experiences.

• Seasonal Events:

  • The Festival of Accord events throughout the year provided limited-time quests and exclusive rewards, including the Flamefete and Blossomdance events.

• Balance Changes:

  • Significant adjustments were made to weapon balance, increasing the viability of various weapon types and enhancing gameplay.
