Ring of Elysium

Ring of Elysium announced its termination effective December 1, 2023, marking a significant end to its operations. In-game purchases and downloads were disabled starting September 1, 2023, as part of this closure.

• Termination Announcement: The game will officially cease operations on December 1, 2023.
  • In-game Purchases Disabled: Payments for all in-game purchases were halted on September 1, 2023.
  • Game Downloads Disabled: The game was removed from Steam, making it unavailable for new downloads as of September 1, 2023.
  • Data Retention Policy Post-Termination: The game will retain personal data for a limited time after termination to comply with legal requirements.

Ring of Elysium celebrated its 3rd Anniversary with a major content update on September 16, 2021, introducing exclusive anniversary characters and various in-game events. This update marked the launch of several new characters, including Lilo, Vivian, and Hawk, alongside numerous gameplay enhancements and seasonal events.

• New Characters: Players unlocked exclusive anniversary characters Lilo, Vivian, and Hawk by collecting character shards. Additionally, a new standalone character, Automata, was introduced on October 21, 2021, for 60,000 Coins.
  • Anniversary Vivian Character Shards became available in the Coin Store.
  • New Adventurer Characters Chun Hui and Chun Ling were also added.

• Seasonal Events: The 3rd Anniversary Celebration Event featured daily missions and character shard rewards from September 16 to October 13, 2021. The Adventurer Pass Season 15 - REUNION ran for ten weeks, offering exclusive in-game rewards.
  • The Adventurer Pass was extended, allowing players to continue claiming rewards.

• Gameplay Enhancements: The Anniversary Daily Check-in allowed players to earn Hawk character shards, while an adjusted leaderboard rating algorithm improved how player ratings were calculated. Limited-time modes had their availability extended for better access.

• Map Adjustments: The game saw adjustments to the Normal Mode map, transitioning to Europa Island based on community votes. A new map for the Grand Adventure LTM was also implemented.

• Balance Changes: The addition of bots for matchmaking optimization was introduced to enhance player experience, along with adjustments to leaderboard elimination ratings related to AI opponents.

Adventurer Season 14 launched on May 13, 2021, introducing an overhaul of the Adventurer Pass rewards and a host of new character styles and challenges. Players also saw the introduction of several new Adventurer Characters, including Casey Jones, Vivian, and Cassio Kent in March, alongside a new gameplay mechanic for bullet penetration that added depth to combat.

• Seasonal Events: Several seasonal events occurred, including the Adventurer Season 12 launch on January 14, 2021, and the Christmas Daily Tasks event on December 17, 2020, offering unique rewards.
• Map Adjustments: The Normal Mode map was adjusted to Europa Island based on community feedback on June 3, 2021, after prior adjustments to Mt. Dione in December 2020.

Adventurer Season 7 launched on January 1, 2020, introducing the Adventure Pass for players to earn in-game rewards and 1500 E-Points back. This update followed the official release of *Ring of Elysium* on June 24, 2019, which marked the end of its Early Access phase. Notable new content included the introduction of the new map Vera and three new Adventurer characters, Hawk, Klein, and Ada, as well as various gameplay enhancements.

• New Map - Vera: Launched on April 9, 2020, this map features a radioactive sandstorm and offers new tactical gameplay opportunities.
