The T1 and T2 Wheels arrived in Robocraft Rebuild, adding two new wheel tiers to its building toolkit. The Block Anim Prototype also landed as a playable experiment with animated, sound-backed block placement and deletion, while the T5 Flak Value Fix and hover reversion delivered the clearest combat tuning.
- Building additions: T1 and T2 Wheels expanded vehicle construction, and the Block Anim Prototype let players try animated, sound-backed block placement and deletion.
- Combat tuning: T5 Flak Value Fix corrected an incorrect weapon value, while the Hover Change Reverted update restored the previous hover behavior.
- Cosmetic shop rotation: Firework T5 Seeker Cosmetic added a colorful explosion effect, and Firework Vapour Trail left a fireworks trail behind vehicles.

Community Balance Patches became Robocraft’s main gameplay beat, with five rounds of community-suggested tuning from the Robocraft Balance Patches Discord. The 10th Anniversary Celebration added a short premium-and-currency reward, while Robocraft 2 opened requests for its first Steam Playtest.

Community Balance Updates formed Robocraft’s biggest gameplay beat, with the Robocraft Balance Patches Discord shaping changes to chassis, weapons, modules, plasma, and rail fire rates. Custom Avatar Uploads also returned after a CDN issue, while affected premium users received seven days of Premium to re-upload their avatars.
- Community balance: Community-suggested tuning arrived in several named implementations.
- Community Suggested Changes to Chassis, Weapons, and Modules: Adjusted those systems based on player feedback.
- Correction of Plasma and Rail Fire Rates: Fixed the incorrect firing-rate values from the previous balance patch.

Robocraft’s server restoration followed the March 2021 OVHcloud data-centre fire, bringing the game back online after a serious outage. The recovery restored player data through March 9, while the Balance Changes Update retuned movement, weapons, and construction parts; the ROBOCRAFT promotion also granted login rewards.
- Server recovery: Robocraft’s servers went offline after the OVHcloud data-centre failure, and restored servers returned on March 18. Backup recovery restored Robots, currency, garages, avatars, and experience through March 9, while new servers addressed the outage’s performance and stability problems.
- Balance Changes Update: The January update significantly retuned core building and combat parts.
- Movement parts: Wheels and Tank Tracks received speed reductions, while Skis and Mech Legs became faster; Hovers gained health and optimum carry mass.
- Weapons: Electroshields lost health, while Lasers and Plasma weapons received damage and energy-use adjustments.
- Construction parts: Medium, Compact, Helium, Rod, and Strut parts gained health, while Light and Heavy Cubes received health and mass changes. Tihonium Canyon was also removed from Elimination.
- ROBOCRAFT promotion: Players who logged in between March 18 and April 22 redeemed 10 days of Premium and 500 Cosmetic Credits with the ROBOCRAFT code.

The Infinity Update landed in November 2018 and fundamentally reshaped Robocraft with infinite parts, returning Tiers, Robot Ranking, Quick Play, the Item Shop, and the Infinity Factory. Campaign Mode added a substantial single-player option, while the Agility Physics Overhaul later changed how nearly every robot moved and handled.
- Infinity Update: The update removed Forge and Recycle requirements, made unlocked parts reusable through the Infinity Cube System, introduced Tier-based matchmaking and progression, and added Quick Play, the Ops Room, new Tier 3 and Tier 4 Campaigns, the Item Shop, custom Mothership Skins, and the Infinity Factory.
- Campaign Mode: The new single-player mode sent players through waves of AI robots toward boss battles across five difficulty levels. Food Fight, Dino Dash, Survival, and Blitz expanded the mode, while AI gained access to weapons including Laser, Rail, Plasma, Tesla, Flak, Mortar, and Chaingun.
- New multiplayer systems: Elimination returned as a 10-vs-10 mode, and the Event System began previewing map conditions such as gravity, visibility, air density, and auto-healing before matches. Gliese Lake and Helion Crater also joined the map rotation.
- Progression and competition: RoboPass Season 1 and RoboPass Season 2 introduced 30-grade free and premium cosmetic tracks, while the Weapon Ranking System and weapon leveling gave more than 30 weapons ten upgrade levels. Global and Regional Leaderboards added player, weapon, clan, and friends-based rankings.
- Movement and combat overhaul: The Agility Physics Overhaul made robot weight more consequential, giving lighter builds faster handling and heavier builds greater armor but slower movement. The Weapon Upgrade System, Boost removal, weapon rebalancing, CPU progression, and Tiered CPU Caps further changed build strategy and matchmaking.
- Seasonal content: Hallowfest 5 brought the Trick or Treat Campaign and a nighttime map, while Sleigh Ride added a Christmas-themed challenge; RoboPass seasons supplied additional spawn effects, death effects, vapour trails, Neon Cubes, Fairy Lights, and other cosmetics.
