Plaguelands, delivered with update 1.02.00, was TBH: Task Bar Hero’s biggest addition: it introduced a new Plague Zone stage type built around tougher challenges and higher-tier loot. The update also added Level 90 gear and roughly 20 Unique Stats, new Runes, the appearance system, and the limited-time free Dusk Wanderer skins.
- Plaguelands content: The new area expanded the game’s stage and item progression.
- Plague Zone: Added a tougher stage type with access to higher-tier rewards.
- Level 90 Items and Unique Stats: Added new gear and accessories with approximately 20 new Unique Stats.
- Runes and Corrosion: Added new Rune types, additional Runes for existing types, and the Corrosion Cube recipe.
- Character customization and DLC: The Skin System enabled dark-fantasy character appearances, while Dusk Wanderer skins were temporarily free before becoming paid items. The Trade Ship Slots DLC increased Trade Ship capacity by up to five slots, and six character costumes became free DLC.
- Progression and loot rules: Several systems received meaningful economy and reward changes.
- Steam Market: Trading became available only from Cube Level 10, with only Legendary-grade and higher equipment eligible; Common, Uncommon, Rare, and specified-level equipment was removed from trading.
- Act Boss Chests: Reward ratios were standardized, higher-grade gear chances improved, and accessory probabilities varied by equipment slot.
- Chest Acquisition: The minimum waiting-time concept was removed, allowing consecutive chest acquisitions in some cases.
- Soulstones: Drop tables shifted toward Nightmare and Hell Soulstones in higher-difficulty stage ranges.
- Server stability and security: Server Migration addressed overload problems, and Improved Server Scaling helped handle traffic surges. Anti-cheat enforcement sanctioned 6,180 confirmed accounts in June and 20,406 additional accounts in July.
- Save and inventory systems: Daily Save Backups retained recovery points for up to 30 days, while Material Item Stacking allowed all materials to be stored in stacks of up to five.
