Living as a mould, stretching threads through an infected area like deadly toadstools. The center of this "being?" deep in the under world is the giant daemon, Skarborr.

The Linux Wine Port made The I of the Dragon available on Linux via Wine on March 11, 2017. Windows Keys Binding and Music Bug Fix for Windows fixes restored key-binding and music behavior on the Windows version, while Mac music playback also received a fix.

- Windows fixes: Fix for Windows Keys Binding resolved key-binding problems, while Music Bug Fix for Windows addressed music playback issues.
- Mac and Alt+Tab: Mac Music Fix Implemented corrected music playback on Mac, and Alt+Tab Behavior Warning flagged potentially undesirable behavior on some systems.

Mac OS X Version Released brought The I of the Dragon to Apple computers through Wine. Steam Trading Cards and three new language options expanded the game’s platform and community support.
- Mac OS X Version: A Wine-based Mac port made The I of the Dragon available on OS X.
- Steam Trading Cards: The game received six trading cards, four profile backgrounds, a badge, and six emoticons, with cards dropping every 15 minutes.
- Localization:
- Hungarian: Text and audio were added, with the language selectable through Steam Properties.
- Czech: A full Czech translation was added.
- Polish: Polish language support was added.
